Pennsylvania Law Firm
Joshua M. Autry
Josh Autry primarily devotes his practice to personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. He has tried several jury trials with significant success, and has had significant success pretrial, helping his clients recover substantial settlements for their injuries. He has successfully appealed cases to the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is an active member of the American Association of Justice and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice.
He also has considerable experience in criminal defense, and has tried felony cases in both federal and state courts, including significant drug cases and a homicide trial. His approach to criminal defense is comprehensive, and has helped clients gain the suppression of evidence, dismissal of their charges by the court, acquittal by a jury, reversal of their convictions on appeal, and relief under Pennsylvania's Post-Conviction Relief Act ("PCRA").
He is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Pennsylvania, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He received his Juris Doctorate from Washington & Lee University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Government from Liberty University. In law school, he was a finalist in Washington & Lee's moot court competition, and the school selected him to compete at the American Bar Association D.C. Regional Competition. At Liberty University, Liberty University's top-ranked debate team named him their "Top Debater", and he was selected to compete at the National Debate Tournament. He was selected for a Blackstone Fellowship by the Alliance Defense Fund between his first and second year of law school.
When he is not practicing law, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenni, and volunteering at his church.
