Dimitri P. Gross

Education
In 1991, I received my undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles, where I was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society and the Dean’s List.  In 1994, I received my law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.  I was admitted to the California State Bar that same year.

Experience
Since 1994 I have litigated cases throughout California, successfully representing clients in complex litigation and arbitration from inception through trial.

   * Obtained $2.2 million judgment after trial in protracted business litigation dispute, as well as dismissal of the cross-complaint, against former employee, officer, and director;
   * Obtained a $2 million judgment against employee accused of embezzlement and fraud;
   * Obtained $900,000 judgment for Plaintiff in a complex fraud scheme;
   * Defeated the California Attorney General’s efforts to secure an injunction and an asset freeze against a business involved in loan modification;  
   * Obtained over $150,000 for a wrongfully terminated graduate student;
   * Obtained numerous temporary restraining orders and injunctions for clients involving trade secret theft, employee dishonesty, unfair competition, and fraud;
   * Published opinion:  Hope International University v. Superior Court (2004) 119 Cal.App.4th 719

Philosophy
I take a no-nonsense and straight-forward approach to relationships and problem solving.  I understand that litigation, even for the most experienced of clients, is a stressful, emotional, and time-consuming ordeal.  As much as possible your lawyer should take the burden off your shoulders and carry that burden himself.   This philosophy allows you to set your mind at ease knowing you can not only trust your lawyer, but that your matter will be handled properly and effectively.
