John R. Alphin
John R. Alphin was born in Tennessee in 1979. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. While attending the University of South Carolina, he made the President’s List and the Dean’s List.
John graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004, where he made the President’s Honor List, Dean’s Honor List, and received the Arthur B. Custy Tax Award.
After receiving his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, John received an L.L.M. from the University of Florida College of Law in 2005.
John is a member of the South Carolina Bar.
John is admitted to practice in the following Courts:
* United States District Court for the District of South Carolina
* All South Carolina State Courts
John has also been admitted pro hac vice, in the Northern District of Florida.
John has also practiced in a number of other Federal courts in Multidistrict Litigation.
John currently represents individuals on the civil side in the following types of cases: class actions, personal injury including traumatic injury, defective products, including defective drugs, nursing home neglect, and predatory lending. John also assists individuals in tax planning, criminal tax law, and assists individuals and small businesses in business formation.
