Janice Dyels Strong

Janice Dyels Strong is President and Chief Counsel of Strong Legal Counsel, P.C.   An active member of the State Bar of California and Georgia, Janice has represented global technology and E-commerce companies since 1999.   A graduate of Stanford University and Law School, Janice launched her legal career at the prestigious law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Silicon Valley where she practiced for three years, specializing in corporate finance, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and strategic transactions.

At Stanford, Janice served as a Director of the Associated Student Union, Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and Senior Teaching Assistant for undergraduates.   As an advocate for the community and underprivileged, Janice has received numerous awards including the Father Cuchulain Moriarity Award from the Lawyers for Civil Rights and the John Wilson Award for outstanding representation of clients in the WSGR pro bono program.  

Prior to becoming an attorney, Janice owned a pre-school and was a co-owner of a fine dining restaurant.  Her pre-school was geared towards serving special needs children, including foster children and victims of abuse.  The daughter of a US Diplomat, Janice lived in Central and South America and Canada during her K-12 years and she has traveled extensively as an adult.  Her multi-cultural background has given her an extraordinary ability to connect to diverse groups.  She is fluent in Spanish and uses her language skills often in cross-border transactions.

Janice formed Strong Legal Counsel, P.C. when she recognized the need for smaller, more personable and affordable legal services dedicated to serving companies and individuals in various stages of legal matters and disputes.   Janice’s diverse and extensive legal experience (including in-house General Counsel) allows her to provide a full range of legal services to her corporate and individual clients.
